Aura Troubleshooting

There are a number of reasons why you may have been redirected to this page from inside the Aurasma app. Please see the information below to find the best solution for you.

 

I saw the message “To view this Aura, the latest app version is required”. What should I do?

Users

Aurasma technology is constantly evolving with new features. If you are using the main Aurasma app, you can fix this by upgrading to the newest version.

If you are using another app that uses Aurasma technology, please check your app store to see if an update is available. If you are using the latest version of this app, but still unable to see the content, then the app’s developer would need to update the core Aurasma technology used in their app and put out a new release.

Developers

Please note that Auras employing the very newest features cannot be viewed in apps using the Aurasma 1.x kernel (including skinned apps).

These updated features include:

- Random Actions

- Full Screen View with Camera Still Active

- Time Delay(s)

I saw the message “Sorry, this Aura is not supported on your device”. What does this mean?

As a cutting-edge technology, Aurasma is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible using the latest hardware. Therefore some advanced features only work on the latest mobile devices, for example 3D Auras only work on higher powered Android devices.
